Nvidia will pay $ 30 each holder of US GTX 970

Nvidia lost the lawsuit in March 2015 which was accused of false advertising and product representation incoresctă video card GTX 970. 23 injured sued the company, and will receive $ 25,000, but all owners of such plates will benefit if purchased in the United States.

As a result, the company will pay $ 30 for each tax receipt proving purchase of the product without a limit for the number of customers compensation. The deadline is December 21.
GTX 970 was presented by Nvidia as having 4GB of VRAM, and is, technically speaking, but the reality is more complex. 3,5GB VRAM are grouped in a sector, with the remaining being separated 0,5GB VRAM. As a result, the performance of games that pass 3,5GB is affected.

The reason is that the GTX 970 contains 56 ROPS (render output processors) instead of 64, which would have been required to complete unification of VRAM memory, and has only 1,792KB L2 Cache, instead of 2.048KB, with the same effect.
If you own, or have owned GTX 970 model, you have encountered problems running?
